I am always looking for a new form. I don't have a defined method or style because I like to see where an idea takes me. Line work, color and pushing for a new boundary is what really motivates me to design and create artwork.
Besides being an all girls’ school, Moore is unique because of its supportive, yet competitive atmosphere. Students look out for one another because they know the way to succeed and to be the best is to go up against the best.
I completed two internships: one in Philadelphia with Rae Kids and one in NYC with Susan Cianciolo. At both places, I worked on the construction of garments and embellishments. While both aesthetics were vastly different, the tight, technical sewing of Rae Kids and the eclectic and artistic method at Susan Cianciolo really played into my senior collection in the shapes used and how it was stitched and finished.
