Join The Galleries for an evening of clairvoyance and torch songs with Interchange artists Sophiel Aurora (UK) and Casey Droege (Pittsburgh). The night will begin with Aurora performing a live group oracle reading via Skype, followed by Teary-oke, a sad-song karaoke session hosted by Droege and karaoke jockey Nicole Pianella. Audience members will be able to select their favorite sad songs from a full library of ballads, and one lucky participant will take home the coveted, crowd-appointed 'best performer' prize.
This event is free and open to the public.
Interchange is co-organized by members of the Philadelphia artist-run spaces Grizzly Grizzly and PRACTICE in cooperation with The Galleries at Moore. The exhibition is on view through August 23.
