For more than 20 years, I have designed and fashioned couture clothing for clients in Philadelphia, New York and Washington, DC. I am classically trained in dressmaking, tailoring and French couture dressmaking, I create seasonal and travel collections, as well as evening and sportswear.
In addition to my couturiere line, I also update wardrobes by redesigning the clothing and making original pieces to coordinate. Myr design skills extend to home accessories, jewelry and fashions for men.
I have served on Moore’s Alumnae Council, where I spearheaded the Lids for Kids community service project. I made hundreds of hats and patterns for othert participants to follow. I organized our sew-ins and attended every workshop we had for children in local hospitals.
I was also one of fourteen alumnae who decorated a giant boot made for Moore’s 160th Anniversary Celebration. I have taught a creative and practical course in sewing at Temple University Center City for many years and am an adjunct faculty at Moore, teaching in the Fashion Design Department. I also taught in Moore’s Summer Art & Design Institute (SADI) and Continuing Education programs.
