Undergraduate Scholarship Aid

  • Moore annually grants $3.5 million in scholarship aid to students who demonstrate artistic and academic excellence.

AICAD

  • Moore is a member of Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design. (AICAD) is a non-profit consortium of 36 leading art schools in the U.S. It was founded in 1991 by a group of 25 presidents who felt a need for the similarly structured art schools to come together so as to mutually develop their schools and programs.

Accreditation

  • Moore College of Art & Design is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), Pennsylvania State Council of Education (PSCE) and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA formerly known as FIDER).

* The Textile Design major will be deactivated starting with the 2009/10 academic year. All students currently enrolled in the major as sophomores, juniors and seniors must complete the degree requirements in three (3) academic years (2009/10, 2010/11 and 2011/12). Many Textile Design courses that support the Fashion Design and Fine Arts majors will continue to be offered and revised Textile Design minors will be developed and announced to students during the 2009/10 academic year.
