Since 1922, the Young Artists Workshop (YAW) at Moore College of Art & Design has been committed to offering high-quality, exciting art instruction for students in 1st through 12th grade that enriches and challenges them. Classes offer varying levels of instruction from basic skills and fundamentals to advanced techniques for aspiring students. YAW teachers are Moore College graduates, BFA faculty and professionals working in their respective fields. Located in the center of Philadelphia’s vibrant cultural community, Moore College shares the Benjamin Franklin Parkway with many world-famous museums and institutions such as The Franklin Institute, the Free Library of Philadelphia, Academy of Natural Sciences, Rodin Museum and Philadelphia Museum of Art. The city’s diverse and lively neighborhoods are an extension of Moore College’s Parkway campus, where students can easily explore the world of art and creative thinking.
