* Exceptions will be made in some cases for those with a BA or BS in Art Education without certification with significant teaching experience, or a BFA not in Art Education with significant teaching experience.
Portfolio Requirements:

A digital portfolio of recent artwork demonstrating evidence of studio practice (10 to 15 images)

Evidence of working knowledge of Powerpoint, such as a classroom project or personal artwork demonstrating its use

Evidence of writing skills, including at least one research paper demonstrating use of citations and references

15 Credit hours of art history including 3 credits from outside western tradition

All College transcripts will be evaluated by the Admission’s Office to determine eligibility of previous coursework for those interested in certification. An application to each program is required with the application fee waived for the MA program.
