Alumna Laura Petrovich-Cheney (MFA 2011) has been awarded a residency with the Arctic Circle for September 25th to October 13th, 2013 and will be a member of “The Arctic Circle 2013.”

Artists with a residency, with architects, engineers and educators, travel aboard an ice-class expedition sailing vessel on a collaborative mission into the High Arctic. The vessel, a traditionally rigged Tall Ship, is equipped with work space, common areas and ample room for privacy and creativity. For more information go to http://www.thearcticcircle.org.
