Designed for elementary and secondary school teachers, the Teachers Summer Institute at Moore is a professional development program that offers teachers college credit, and enriches and nourishes your teaching and practice of the performing and visual arts through an intensive curriculum and unique residential experience. ART Education SYMPOSIUMS
Graduate Studies at Moore's MA in Art Education with an Emphasis in Special Populations offers two symposiums a year for teachers. Teachers who attend are eligible to receive ACT 48 CREDITS for their participation. Art Education Symposiums
Prepare your students
We encourage all high school art teachers to come visit our campus. You are welcome to go on a Student Ambassador guided tour, visit classes in session, speak to faculty, and have lunch with admissions staff. Please contact us to make arrangements.
Teachers’ Night Out at The Galleries
When you get a group of teachers together, you’re not just giving them a chance to talk, you’re giving them a place to make things happen!
Join us this fall for Teachers’ Night Out, an opportunity for educators to collectively explore, create and discuss ideas for teaching with contemporary art and making learning relevant and accessible for all students. It’s a great way to kick off the school year, meet colleagues and get resources for your classroom.
Teachers’ Night Out includes:
- A guided exhibition tour led by the, Outreach and Public Programs Coordinator
- Group chat and activities over wine and appetizers
- FREE Lesson plans + PowerPoints
- An introduction to The Galleries’ new online and in-school initiatives
All teachers who attend Teacher’s Night Out will receive ACT 48 CREDITS
