Stephanie worked on a large-scale digital imaging project while interning at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia.

I wanted the advantage of internship experience during the summer of my sophomore year and I received a work-study grant to work in the Academy’s digital imaging center. The experience helped me prepare for my junior-year required internship. It’s a great thing to have on my resume.

Not only did I have a chance to work with professionals in the field, I also learned a lot about digital imaging and editing. I had a chance to see rare examples of scientific illustration and learn about their techniques. I made some good connections.
