Textile Design majors may explore internship opportunities in the commercial textile design industry or choose to take the fine arts direction as they build their skills and knowledge. In either case, Textile Design internships will expose students to the latest trends, techniques and talents of the field. Interns in this discipline may also explore opportunities that intersect with fashion design, costume design, or interior design, gallery or museum work, apprenticeships with artists and designers, or involve conservation of historic textiles.
