International Study 2012

New Rome Program
and London Now!

Moore is pleased to announce two exciting, undergraduate, international experiences that students may participate in as early as the summer after their first year. Presented by Moore College of Art & Design in partnership with The College of Global Studies, Arcadia University, these distinctive programs builds upon Moore’s mission to educate students for careers in art and design. 

Rome Italian Style: Art and Design

June 20 - July 15, 2012

  • A three-week, three-credit course with the city of Rome as your classroom.
  • Your coursework will consider the historical context that breathes life into contemporary ‘Italian Style’, and engage the culture that shapes it by examining galleries, exploring festivals, attending guest lectures and visiting examples of ancient and contemporary Roman architecture.
  • Moore College of Art & Design students will receive an Arcadia University transcript. Credit earned on the program will count towards your undergraduate degree at Moore College of Art & Design.
  • Arcadia’s experienced, knowledgeable staff offer complete student support in both the US and Rome.
  • Cost is $2,450. This includes tuition, board and support-services.
  • Registration deadline for summer 2012 is March 31, 2012.

London Now: Exploring the Visual and Literary Arts

July 29 - August 17, 2012

  • The City of London serves as your classroom for this exciting three-week, three credit course focusing on visual arts and literature.
  • Moore College of Art & Design students will receive an Arcadia University transcript. Credit earned on the program will count towards your undergraduate degree at Moore College of Art & Design.
  • Arcadia's experienced, knowledgeable staff offer complete student support in both the US and London.
  • All Moore College of Art & Design students will be housed together in accommodation provided by Arcadia University.
  • Cost is $2,500. This includes tuition, board and support-services.
  • Registration deadline for summer 2012 is March 31, 2012.

TRAVEL FELLOWSHIPS

Moore also offers a number of competitive international travel fellowships for juniors. Eligible students are encouraged to develop a proposal for independent travel. These travel fellowships include the Frieda Fehrenbacher Fellowship, the Sis Grenald International Travel Fellowship and the Emily Sartain Fellowship, all of which are designated for international travel. Additionally, Moore offers the Sarah Peter and Harriet Sartain travel fellowships, which may be used for international, national or regional travel. Recently students have traveled to Mexico, Venezuela, Italy, England, France, Morocco, Japan, Ghana, Brazil, Switzerland and Australia.
