Moore email address
Congratulations on your acceptance to Moore College of Art & Design! Once you have submitted your enrollment form and tuition deposit the Admission office will send you your official Moore email address beginning in late May. You will also receive your official Moore Student ID number along with instructions for accessing you Moore email account .
Your Moore email account is the primary form of communication from the College, so get used to checking it regularly to be sure you don’t miss any important information.
Student Services will send an email to your Moore email account to help you log onto the online platforms Moodle & Self-Service that Moore students and faculty use on a daily basis. Once you receive your Moore email address you’ll need to log into.
So...What’s Moodle? Moodle is an online interactive classroom environment where your professors and classmates will communicate about your classes. Eventually you will be logging into Moodle daily to view posted assignments, surveys, videos, blogs and other items pertaining to your classes. It’s also the place where Student Services has put your New Student Guide (NSG). The NS G has everything you need to guide you through your transition into Moore. It has all of the information, forms and tasks that you need to complete before your arrival in August. In the NSG you will see that the first section is full of action items, so be sure to read all of the information carefully and follow the instructions for what to do next. Periodically over the summer new sections will become available for you to view, and an email alert will be sent to your Moore email to check the NSG for updates.

Self-Service is an online portal where all of your official information gets stored and communicated. Self-Service is where you will:
- Pay your bill
- Enroll in eRefunds
- Access information about your class schedule
- Register for classes for future semesters
- View your Academic Plan
- See your grades, and print an unofficial transcript
The really personal and important information all goes through Self-Service. Because of this you will need to set up a special password for this account. One of the first emails you receive in your Moore email account will outline how to login. Once you activate this account, you can set up parent access.
