I am the executive director of marketing and communications at Drexel University College of Medicine. I oversee the department and all activities for branding, public relations, advertising, marketing, market research, events, and website design.
I was most recently the executive vice president of marketing and communications for the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, overseeing all aspects of marketing and public relations for the organization. Prior to PAFA, I served as director of communications and legislative affairs at the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. I have also served as director of public relations and marketing communications at Bucks County Community College and as director of external affairs at Valley Forge Military Academy & College. For more than 16 years, I have co-owned and co-operated Adams & Braverman, Inc., an award-winning marketing communications firm. Prior to Adams & Braverman she was art director of Philadelphia Magazine and was the first woman art director hired at the Aitkin-Kynett Company and at Lewis & Gilman Advertising, Inc.
I have received numerous awards including Philadelphia Art Director Gold Medals, Philadelphia Addy Awards, the Pepper Pot Award, the Women's Business Ownership Conference Award of Achievement, and for her work in higher education, a gold medal from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations. In 2011, I was awarded the Distinguished Alumnae Award from Moore College of Art & Design.
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in advertising from Moore College of Art & Design and hold a Master of Arts in professional communication from LaSalle University. Currently, I am a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the Association of Communicators in Education, and the Alumni Advisory Council at Moore College of Art & Design
