As an Art Education major you will be a student teacher participating in formal training within the classroom. Under the supervision of the chair and the faculty of the Art Education department, you will receive an assignment at a K-12 school working with a certified teacher. In addition to student teaching, you may have the opportunity to learn related skills in museums, community art centers, summer camps and parks and recreation departments.
