I worked in the pattern room at Urban Outfitters with digital patterns. I altered the patterns and sewed the patterns into garments. I have really improved my pattern skills when it comes to working with them on the computer.

Doing an internship helps you learn so much. You begin to understand the other careers out there related to your field. You also get to meet new people and make connections that will hopefully lead to a job.

Having a paid fellowship really helped me. I was able to put some money away to use for fabric when I need to make my senior collection of bridal wear.
