In honor of the 160th Anniversary of Moore College of Art & Design, alumnae are celebrating on a large scale. This summer, fourteen alumnae were commissioned to decorate twelve six-foot boots to mark the pathways and accomplishments made by School's gutsy graduates over 16 decades. The boots are as varied as the artists and designers who created them. Representing seven different disciplines and generations, the artists' boots are on view city-wide through May 2009. The indoor sculptures can be seen in such places as City Hall, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the Free Library and The Four Seasons Hotel.
Participating alumnae artists are:
e Bond ’96, Heather Bryson ’92, Dee Collins ’93, Aubrie Costello ’07, Laura Graham ’03, Darla Jackson ’03, Karen Daroff ’70, Gail Gaines ’89, Rochelle Levy ’79, Longina Rossi ’70, Theresa Saulin ’92, Jane Walentas ’66, Cathey White ’96 and Janell Wysock ’04.
Sponsored by Fran '66 and Bill Graham.
