Moore Announces 2012 Scholarship and Fellowship Recipients

(Philadelphia, PA) – Moore College of Art & Design is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Fellowships and Scholarships. Winners were named at Honors Convocation held Friday, April 13, at 5:30 pm. Students, faculty and staff gathered in Stewart Auditorium at Moore for the presentations. This year's event included four new awards: the Penny Fox Internship Fellowships, the Ruth Lynn Leiter ’37 Memorial Prize for Excellence in Interior Design, the Shirley Vernon Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Design and the Fanny Brennan Scholarship for Excellence in Painting.

Graphic design major and business minor Samantha Emonds, from Bridgeton, NJ, was named Valedictorian for the Class of 2012.
