Moore Showcases Senior Work

(Philadelphia, PA) On Wednesday April 28, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm, Moore’s Locks Career Center will host a preview of the best work of the 104 graduating seniors and emerging artists participating in the Senior Exhibition 2010. This showcase event primarily focuses on presenting senior work to prospecitve employers. The exhibition will feature such diverse works as Trish Oniskey's (Illustration) book of portraits of women artists (many Moore women included!), Kelly Kozma's (Fine Arts) biomorphic abstract painting and the branding/identity concepts of the Graphic Design majors.

The Senior Show Awards Ceremony begins at 4 pm in the Great Hall, immediately preceding the VIP reception, with Deborah Larkin, graphic designer, adjunct faculty member and Moore alumnae serving as the emcee.

On May 15 at 3 pm, the Art History and Curatorial Studies senior presentations will be held in Stewart Auditorium. These public presentations were scheduled to follow the closing Senior Show Reception, also on May 15 from 1 – 3 pm.

Moore College of Art & Design educates students for inspiring careers in art and design. Founded in 1848, Moore is the nation's first and only women's art college.
