I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States at the age of six. My high school art teacher introduced me to Moore and encouraged me to take Saturday Young Artist Workshop classes for high school students. I became really interested in Moore and decided to apply.
The fact that you can get one on one attention from your professors and build great relationships with them and your peers is something I find particularly special about Moore.
The experience of attending a small college has helped me to connect with people around me. I have learned to find what makes me stand out from the rest in a competitive environment, which will be useful when we step into the work force.
The opportunity at Moore to feel a part of a community of creative women is something you can’t get anywhere else.
