June 22 Opening Reception for Sketch Club Exhibition Featuring Work by Moore Faculty

Jill Furst, Professor, Art History, Holly Bittner, Assistant Professor, Liberal Arts and Richard Harrington, Assistant Professor and Visiting Artist in Illustration are participating in Artist and Poet: Image and Word at the Philadelphia Sketch Club. The exhibition runs June 20 through July 13, 2008. An opening reception is scheduled for June 22, 2 - 5 pm.

The Sketch Club gallery is located at 235 S. Camac Street (between 12th and 13th Streets and Locust and Spruce). Hours of operation are Monday and Wednesday, and Friday through Sunday, 1 - 5 pm. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

Artist Jill Furst and poet Holly Bittner collaborated on two pieces in the exhibition; Vessel and Emergence. Richard Harrington used the poetry by his wife, Laurie Harrington, as the muse for two illustrations in the show, Hoffert's is Crushing and Dynamic 88.
