FASHION SHOW MODEL AUDITIONS AT MOORE

Today, Thursday, February 27, 2014 was a busy day for the Fashion Design department at Moore as preparations continued for the 2014 Fashion Show, scheduled for Saturday, May 17.    A production meeting was held with producer Sharon Phillips Waxman as models arrived to audition for a chance to appear on the runway this spring.   After checking in and submitting headshots and resumes, models were escorted in by senior Fashion Design major Love Metellus who explained the process and introduced them to colleagues Eva Su and Andrea Segall who took their measurements.  Next, VJ Thomas photographed  each model after they had strutted their best runway walk for those casting the show.  Love said, “we are looking for female and male models who can work across all the collections, including urban swimsuit designs, man-scape-themed menswear and the ‘express yourself’ senior collections.”
