The surroundings from the campsite serve as an inspiration for the designer’s next challenge. They will be creating a look that is inspired by their camping activities. The designs will be high-end and editorial and not camping gear. The designers go river rafting, zip lining, eat a fabulous dinner together and toast marshmallows over a campfire.
After the camping trip ends, the designers then meet at Mood to pick up their fabric and notions. They get one day to work with a suggested budget of $300. The workroom is relatively drama-free this week. Moore alumna Dom Streater goes with a water theme for her glamping outfit.
Dom moves on to the next round. Alexandria is named the winner of the challenge. Justin was voted out, but he gets to stay as he was given the Tim Gunn save. Everyone will be back next week for more fashion and drama on the workroom floor.
