Art in City Hall Presents Works by Recent Graduates

Art In City Hall presents Recent Graduates, a juried art exhibition sampling early works by emerging artists from some of Philadelphia’s prestigious art schools, including BFA and MFA graduates from Moore College of Art & Design.

The works were selected by members of the Art In City Hall Exhibitions Advisory Committee composed of local arts professionals. The exhibition runs from June 10 – August 2 in the Art Gallery at City Hall, Room 116 near the East Portal entrance facing East Market Street.  A reception for Recent Graduates is scheduled for June 13th, from 5-7 pm.

The 12 participating artists are:
Wendelyn Anderson, Stephanie Elden, April Field, Gina Giles, Quizayra Gonzalez, Sara Hanlon, Kelly Kozma, Adam Ledford, Tasha Lewis, Mason Owens, Laura Petrovich-Cheney and Dorothea Vile.

Recent Graduates recognizes the Philadelphia region for its large number of quality art programs, and highlights promising emerging artists soon to impact Philadelphia’s vibrant visual arts scene.
