The Visionary Woman Awards at Moore College of Art & Design celebrate women whose lives and careers have made a significant impact on the visual arts. Proceeds benefit Moore scholarships to educate the next generation of women artists and designers. Learn more about the awards and past recipients.

Helen Drutt English

Curator & Gallerist 
Helen Drutt English founded the Helen Drutt Gallery in Philadelphia, among the first in the United States to make a commitment to the Modern and Contemporary Craft Movement. She has lectured internationally. Her American craft dining room has been selected to be exhibited at the Hermitage. 

Janet Fish


Janet Fish’s paintings are a celebration of light and color that delight the eye and engage the mind. Fish's work is in the collections of major American museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Whitney Museum of American Art.



Nicole Miller

Fashion Designer & Entrepreneur

Nicole Miller combines art training with couture technique. She launched the Nicole Miller brand in 1982 and continues to run the company in NYC's Garment District. Her irreverent style of clothing has been worn by celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Joss Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Beyoncé, Blake Lively and Eva Longoria.
