  • Taylor Reynolds, a sophomore Graphic Design major, was a finalist in the national Society of Publicatiton Designers 2015 Student Design Competition for her publication layout "Whatever Happened to Britney." 
  • Randi Bellamy, a sophomore Graphic Design major, has been named the grand prize winner of the ShopRite “Designed to Fight Hunger” reusable bag design contest. Bellamy submitted an original design depicting how she would fight hunger in her community. She will receive $2,500 and her design will be featured on reusable shopping bags at ShopRite stores.
  • Moore alumnae Brittany Slopey '12, Lauren Ladner '13, Megan Rhodes '14 and Christy Dishman '14 recently had work published in the book Creative Anarchy. Creative Anarchy explains and explores both rule-following and rule-breaking design. The book was published through HOW Design, which serves the creative and business needs of graphic designers
  • Heather Knopf, adjuct faculty of Graphic Design, was featured on WHYY's television segment, Friday Arts, for a collective publishing project through Philadelphia Stories. Her monotype, "Young Margaret Mead," was highlighted in the segment.
  • Professor Gigi McGee co-organized an exhibition of student work from area colleges with the purpose of celebrating effective design solutions that give voice to important social issues. The exhibition, Design for Good , was held at Gallery 105 at Crane Arts.
  • Design for Good Exhibition/AIGA Philadelphia This initiative showcased the work of local non-profits through the design of a t-shirt. The work of Skye Bolluyt '15 for Books Through Bars was selected by a panel of judges unanimously as one of the top three entries. Honorable Mentions were awarded to Shalaya Holliday '15 for Defenders Of Wildlife, Lydia Knopp '15 for Feel The Warmth, Suel-Gi Lee '15 for Rebuilding Together Philadelphia, and Sarah Lownes '15 for Mural Arts Program.
  • Skye Bolluyt '15 received an Honorable Mention from Creative Quarterly magazine for a poster series she in the fall 2014 Design Systems class. She is now working as a designer at 3 x 3 Magazine in New York City.
  • Brigette Indelicato '10 wrote a blog post about collaborating with her friend and fellow graduate Dom Streater '10, about her process in designing Dom's new logo and brand identity.
  • Jubi Kan '14  Graphic design major from Moore is featured in Huffington Post article "From College to Career: Her First Job After Graduation
  • Larisa Manzo ‘14 was a runner up for Creative Quarterly 36 for her work on the Penn Museum Brand Identity.  
  • Professor Gigi McGee organized an exhibition at SPACE Gallery of student work from This is my Philly, an AIGA Philadelphia initiative that pairs elementary school children with college students in a writing and image making workshop. Participating Moore mentors are Rachel Brichter, Jaeger Rae Cohen, Whitney Harrall, Courtney LaPrince, Suel-Gi Lee, Jessica Massabrook, Ivy Moore, Stephanie Paone, and Alissa Straube.
