After graduation I worked at Citadel FCU for two years and now am employed at IBM Software Group.
Moore helped create a strong foundation for design. I had three internships while I was a student, they were at Casa Papel, The Trocadero and Doyle & Associates. My internships helped elevate my work and professionalism to a higher level. I learned a lot by experience and my mentors were more than happy to help.
Outside of work, I still sketch with a sketchbook and a pencil, although not as much as before. It's a great way to quickly jot down some ideas for further exploration.
My favorite memories of Moore include getting ready for the Senior Show -- it was very memorable. It was intense, stressful, but altogether a great experience and some of my best work came out of it.
My advice to current and prospective students would be to follow through with your ideas; when you think you're done, take a step back and re-evaluate your work and if there's any way to make it better, don't be afraid to change it.
