In addition to providing access to art, artists, scholars and professionals in the art and design field, The Galleries provide enriching ways to get involved. Learn more about ways to contribute and become immersed in contemporary art through our programs and gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of a professional contemporary art gallery.

VOLUNTEER

Become a volunteer and play an important role in The Galleries - provide vital support by leading docent tours, staffing special events, and working behind the scenes in exhibition planning and installations. Hours are flexible and orientation & training is provided. For more information about our volunteer program, contact us by phone at 215.965.4027 or email Gabrielle Lavin at glavin@moore.edu.

INTERNSHIPS

The Galleries at Moore are dedicated to mentoring the next generation of gallery professionals. Our interns are organized, creative and motivated students looking to gain insight into how a contemporary, non-profit art gallery operates. Internships are generally unpaid, but offer the opportunity to build professional skills and relationships with experienced curatorial mentors. WORK STUDY

Learn the ins and outs of working in a nationally recognized contemporary art gallery while working alongside professional curators, visiting artists and gallery staff. Gain experience working with professional art handlers who teach basic carpentry and construction skills essential to those who hope to present their work professionally. Eligible students are invited to stop by The Galleries office for more information about availability Monday–Friday, 10am–5pm.

ARTIST SUBMISSIONS

Although The Galleries' exhibition programming is determined solely by our curatorial staff, we do accept submissions from artists for review. Click here for more information about our artist submission policy and guidelines.
